Jonas Kocher is a sound artist and accordionist born in 1977. He is working with personalities from various backgrounds and in numerous artistic and social contexts. Jonas Kocher has a strong interest in process oriented works, unstable situations and improvisation. His regular collaborators are musicians such as Joke Lanz, Axel Dörner, Jacques Demierre, Hans Koch, Gaudenz Badrutt, Tomaž Grom, Bertrand Denzler, Irena Tomažin. He also works or worked with Radu Malfatti, Kasper T.Toeplitz, Michael Pisaro, Christof Kurzmann, Christian Kesten, Michel Doneda and many others.
As sound artist he has realised works that are situated between composed theatre, installation and concert pieces.
